Why is Denise James Jewelry Design Unique?
There are lots of reasons and we want to share one with you today. You may wonder how a new Denise James creation comes to life. Well let us share one piece of the process with you today.
Denise's new designs are inspired by life, art and loved ones. Each new metal collection begins with a simple sketch that continuously changes until it is perfect. That may take one month or a year. We then send the drawing to our goldsmith in Los Angeles. He creates a wax mold and casts the new design in silver. Denise then evaluates if the silver cast matches her idea. If not, then it gets melted and we start over again. If it does, then we create a new collection based off that one piece.
For our beaded designs, Denise looks at all her gemstones and starts combining them to see how the light reflects and plays off each other. Then sketches a design based on the cut and color of stones she has selected. It could be either a bracelet, necklace or earrings. Once she feels that she has the perfect balance, the loose stones and her sketch are sent to our stringer in Los Angeles. After the piece is completed, the new design is sent back for review and inspection. We check for balance and quality control to ensure it is the Extraordinary for Everyday.
